Hello! I’m Lyndsay!

Lyndsay Younkin Hayden is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Educational Specialist, National Board Certified Special Education Teacher, Autism Consultant, and Professional Tutor with a deep passion for helping students overcome academic and social challenges. She is dedicated to empowering students by recognizing their strengths and fostering their interests.

She earned her Bachelor of Business in Marketing from the University of Kentucky in 2003 and completed a Master of Education with Certification in Special Education K-12 from Western Kentucky University in 2005. Furthering her expertise in autism education, she completed Autism Specialist and Behavioral Analysis coursework at Clemson University in 2021.

With over 18 years of teaching experience, Lyndsay has worked extensively in both public school systems in Kentucky and Tennessee, teaching elementary and middle school special education. For the past seven years, she has been immersed in the private therapy setting, serving as a Behavior Therapist and Curriculum Developer. Her dedication to education has earned her numerous accolades, including:

Beyond the classroom, she has a diverse professional background, having worked in corporate America as a graphic designer, event planner, and media buyer for major corporations.

Currently, she serves as the President of the Blind Early Services Tennessee Board of Directors and as the Vice President of Events for her children's school PTO. She has also had the privilege of serving on the Board of Directors for Autism Tennessee.

A passionate educator and advocate, Lyndsay believes that every child has the power to succeed. Through creativity, dedication, and individualized support, she is committed to helping students become confident, thriving individuals.

Outside of her professional work, Lyndsay is a wife and mother of four. She enjoys sports, coaching her children, and finding creative ways to engage with her community.
