Hello! I’m Abby!
Abby Van Eman, MFT, is pursuing licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Mental Health Service Provider under the supervision of Leiah Drew-Hightower, LPC-MHSP-S. With a background in special education, Abby brings a neurodiversity-affirming perspective to her work with individuals, couples, and families.
She works with neurodivergent adults and couples navigating ADHD, autism, and executive functioning differences, helping them strengthen communication, emotional connection, and relational patterns. Abby also offers discernment counseling for couples considering separation, as well as parent coaching to support caregivers in building practical, sustainable systems.
Abby practices from an attachment-informed, neurodiversity-affirming lens. She takes an active, engaged role in therapy, offering reflection, gentle challenge, and practical guidance to help clients notice patterns, make meaning of their experiences, and move toward meaningful change.
Abby enjoys time with her dog, Ivy, exploring new restaurants, cooking and baking, hiking, and traveling — all reflecting her curiosity about people, culture, and connection.
